Earlier this summer, the Leakey Foundation awarded Dr. Peter Ungar and Sarah Livengood with an $18,000 grant to further exploration into early human diets.  Ungar and Livengood will lead research conducted among the Hadza in Tanzania that will analyze the dental microwear of present day hunter-gatherer tribe members in hopes of providing new insight to the diets of early humans through comparison.
